The respective pros and cons of serverless and containers architectures are debatable but both architectures have modern approaches to application management. Documentation that addresses serverless frameworks and action in the serverless community focuses on building serverless applications.

Serverless lets developers focus on writing code that is the product and the output of the organization. More planning is required for testing and monitoring and preventing future problems.

In serverless architecture, servers are present in the stack but the developer need not worry about them. Serverless architecture requires only the amount of resources required by the function and can even run the functions parallel to each other as opposed to services like Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).
