Ransomware is a major threat to backup storage systems in organizations. It can occur in a non-ending cycle by lying dormant in the network until data is retrieved due to which a ransomware backup protection system is necessarily installed in the system.
In ransomware, the malware gets you as you’re backing it up along with your files too.
